Slots vs Live Casino vs Tables: What Converts

A slots player, a live-dealer player and a tables player do not arrive the same way, stay the same way, or pay you the same way. How the three products differ by GEO, by device, and in the deal you should take.

Casino is not one product. Affiliates who treat it as one send a slots landing to a live-dealer audience and then call the GEO dead.

Slots are a mood and a cashier. Live casino is a table with a person, in a language, at an hour. RNG tables are a smaller, slower cousin of both. The player who wants one will not be talked into the other by a bonus table that lists all three.

Three clocks

Slots convert when the cashier is fast and the game is on the first screen. Sessions can be long. NGR is smoother than people expect, because a slots book is a lot of small events. Device is mostly mobile. Time to FTD by payment method decides more of this funnel than the RTP on the tile.

Live casino converts when the lobby looks like a room the player could sit in: language, table limits, a game they already know. Sessions are appointment-shaped. Evening in the GEO matters. Desktop still takes a real share, because a phone is a worse blackjack table than a laptop. A landing that opens on slots and hides live under a tab is a slots landing.

RNG tables (blackjack, roulette, baccarat without a dealer) sit in between and usually lose to both: they have none of the live atmosphere and none of the slots dopamine. They convert where a GEO already plays those games as a habit, not as a discovery.

Slots, live, tables: different devices, different hours, different NGR shapes

GEO is a product decision

A Brazilian player on PIX at 23:00 is often a slots player. A live lobby in Portuguese still works, and it is a different campaign.

A European live-dealer audience will sit at a table in their language and will bounce from an English-only studio. Table language is not a nicety. It is the product. The later article in this cluster is about that; here it is enough to say: if you cannot name the studio language, you do not have a live campaign.

Asian-facing live (baccarat first) is its own vertical. Do not reuse a slots bonus page and slap a dealer still on it.

Regulation changes the mix. Germany's licensed slots are a different game from an unrestricted slots lobby, which Germany for affiliates already covers. Live and sportsbook keep more of their shape under that regime than slots do.

What it does to the deal

Slots NGR is the thing RevShare was built on: lots of events, a published RTP, a month that usually converges. CPA on slots is a fight about bonus abusers.

Live NGR is lumpier. A good hour at a high-limit table is not a slots hour. Hybrid is how a lot of live deals end up, because pure CPA overpays the tourist and pure RevShare underpays the affiliate who sent a real regular.

Tables-only traffic is rarely a book on its own. If that is all you send, expect the brand to treat you as a rounding error.

On AFFILIFY the model is per brand and GEO, in USD, not per game type as a platform switch. If a brand wants slots-only traffic, that belongs in the source list and in the landing you are given. Read it. How to read an iGaming offer.

What to send where

One landing per product. Tag it. Sub-ids.

If you do not know which product the GEO wants, look at what licensed local brands put on their home screen. They have paid to find out. Copying their mix is not theft. It is literacy.

Casino versus sportsbook is a different fork, with its own seasonality. Casino vs sportsbook traffic is that page. Do not mash all four into one URL and call it a brand review.

Frequently asked questions

Which product converts fastest to FTD?

Slots, in most GEOs, because the cashier is the product and the game is instant. Live casino is slower to first deposit and often more valuable per player who stays. Speed to FTD is the wrong reason to pick live, and the wrong reason to ignore it.

Should I take CPA on live casino?

Only if qualification matches how live players actually behave. A live regular may deposit modestly at first and then sit for months. CPA pays you for the modest start and gives the rest to the brand. RevShare or hybrid is the more honest live conversation, with the NGR shape in mind.

Does device change the mix?

Yes. Slots are a phone product. Live still wants a bigger screen more often than affiliates admit, especially blackjack and baccarat. If your traffic is in-feed mobile, slots landings will look like genius and live landings like a mistake. That is the device, not the GEO.

Can one review page rank for all three?

It can rank for the brand name. It will convert the product you put first. If you need all three, they are three landings, or at least three visible doors on the first screen, tagged separately so you can see which door was the FTD.
