How AFFILIFY Works: Click, FTD, NGR, Payout
One path, in the order the money actually moves. You pick a brand, a player clicks, the operator reports the deposit, commission is calculated, it sits pending, and on the 15th it becomes available. Here is each step, including the two states people dislike.

Most affiliate platforms will tell you they track clicks and pay commissions. That sentence is true of everyone and useful of no one. What you need is the path a single player takes through AFFILIFY, from the moment you copy a link to the moment the money is yours to withdraw. This is that path. No extra mystery, and no missing stairs.
If you want the short version: you pick a brand, a GEO and a landing page; a player clicks; they register and deposit; the operator tells AFFILIFY server-to-server; commission is calculated off your deal; it sits pending; on the 15th of the month cleared pending becomes available; KYC has to be done before anything leaves. The rest of this article is what each of those clauses actually means, and where people get stuck.
1. You get a tracking link
You sign in, pick a brand, pick the country you run, pick a named landing page. The link builds itself. You can add sub-ids if you want to tell campaigns apart, and a deep link if the player should land on a match or a game rather than the homepage. Copy it. Put it somewhere a human will see it.
That is the whole setup. There is no platform sales call and no onboarding project. Some brands still review new affiliates before their own link goes live; that review is the brand's, and it is shown on the deal. The iGaming affiliate program is the public version of the same sentence.
Test the link before you spend anything on it. A parameter that does not round-trip is the most expensive silent failure in this business, and six checks catch almost all of it in ten minutes.
2. A player clicks, then something happens on the operator's side
The click is recorded with a timestamp, a GEO and any sub-ids you set. The player lands on the operator. What happens next is not AFFILIFY's page. It is the operator's registration, cashier and game.
Two events matter for almost every iGaming deal.
Registration. An account was opened. Useful. Rarely what you are paid on.
FTD, first-time deposit. Real money arrived. On a casino deal this is often the qualifying event. On a sportsbook deal it often is not: you still need a settled qualifying bet, at a minimum stake and a minimum price, inside a window. The sportsbook playbook is the fine print on that. The glossary is the nouns.
Traffic quality is checked continuously. We do not publish the checklist. Several independent signals sit behind a conversion, layered so that no single blocker takes the click down with it. Conversions themselves arrive server-to-server, which is why reporting does not depend on the player's browser still being cooperative at the moment they deposit.

3. Commission is calculated off the deal you already accepted
The operator reports the event. AFFILIFY matches it to your click and applies the deal for that brand in that GEO.
- CPA pays a fixed USD amount per qualifying FTD (or per qualifying bet, if that is what the deal says).
- RevShare pays a percentage of NGR, net gaming revenue: what the operator kept after wins, bonuses, fees, payment costs and the other deductions the deal lists. Negative carryover, if it is in the deal, is the clause that decides whether a bad month follows you into the next one. Read NGR and negative carryover before you treat a RevShare percentage as a promise.
- Hybrid is some of each.
The rate is not a platform-wide number. It is the brand's, and it varies by GEO, which is the whole of the GEO payout matrix. Your level sits on top of that. One level per account, deposits across every brand counting toward it, on a rolling 90-day window. Trial is RevShare from the first FTD. Ten qualifying deposits plus review unlocks CPA at Bronze. The published ladder, Trial to Diamond, is in the level system.
From the moment the event is accepted, the commission exists as a line you can open: which brand, which conversion, which click. No black-box totals.
4. Pending, then available on the 15th
New earnings sit as pending first. On the 15th of each month, cleared pending earnings roll to available. The wait is the window in which deposits are verified and operator reporting is reconciled.
The 15th applies to cleared earnings. If a deposit is part of an investigation on that date, it stays visible as under review and moves to available on a later cycle once the investigation resolves. Held money is not vanished money. It is money with an open question.
KYC has to be complete before a payout is released. That gate exists because payouts in this industry are a regulated money movement, not a PayPal sticker. How payouts work is the longer walk through pending, available, held, under review and paid.
Payouts are counted once. A retry does not double-credit you. The same rule applies on the way in: a postback sent twice is still one conversion. Idempotent postbacks is the operator-facing version.
5. You withdraw
Available balance can be withdrawn. Pending cannot. Under review cannot. The destination is whatever payout method you have set up and that method will accept, which for a gambling business is a shorter list than people expect. Check it before your first month closes, not after.
What this is not
It is not a course. It is not a paid membership. It is not a programme that asks you for money to join. If a page with our name on it is asking you to pay to become an affiliate, it is not us.
It is also not a promise that traffic you send will convert. The platform records the click, matches the conversion, calculates the deal and moves the money through the states above. The player, the cashier, the GEO and the creative are still your problem. The first thirty days is the practical sequence on that side.
If you have not picked a brand yet, start with how to choose a casino affiliate program and then come back here, because the path above only starts once there is a link to copy.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to talk to anyone before I get a tracking link?
No. Create the account, pick a brand, a GEO and a landing page, copy the link. Some brands still review new affiliates before the link goes live; that review is the brand's, and it is shown on the deal. There is no platform-level sales call.
When do I actually get paid?
Earnings accrue as pending and clear to available on the 15th of each month, unless an investigation is still open on them. KYC must be complete before a withdrawal is released. The date is a schedule for cleared earnings, not a guarantee that every line item moves on that day.
What is the difference between FTD and NGR on AFFILIFY?
FTD is the player's first real-money deposit (or the qualifying event the deal names, which on sportsbook is often a settled bet). NGR is what the operator kept after the deductions the deal lists, and RevShare pays on that, not on the deposit. CPA pays on the qualifying event. Hybrid pays some of both. The glossary unpacks the nouns; the deal unpacks which ones you are on.
Does one account cover every brand?
Yes. One signup, multiple brands, one level that counts qualifying deposits across all of them. The deal terms still differ by brand and by GEO. Your level does not.
